Project: The Crescents Custom Home (Residential)

Building a strong foundation for a dream home.
The Crescents is one of Regina’s most desirable residential neighbourhoods, with a mix of traditional and modern homes. After an older home was torn down to make room for a new custom build, DKM was asked to provide structural engineering. The home was built on piles to ensure a strong foundation, with test holes for the piles completed before the design. This gave the architect the confidence to design a one-of-a-kind two-story home, complete with pool terrace. DKM provided custom solutions for the foundation walls on piles, structural slab in basement on piles, structural slab pool terrace on piles, structural slab in garage floor, engineered tall walls in the home, custom designed open staircase and open concept throughout.
