Converting 100-year old home into small business gem.

This 2-1/4 storey structure is one of the Flood Land Company residences built in 1912. In 2016, the building was converted from a tired-looking residence into a fully renovated commercial space—a perfect home for small business. DKM brought our experience to bear on installation of new footing, bracing for brick foundation walls, removal of load bearing walls and addition of engineered beams and columns. The old dirt floor in the basement was dug down and a new concrete floor poured. Other renovations included a new interior water management system, exterior rear entrance with separate access to the basement, larger second storey windows and solar panels on the roof.
