D. (Jim) Markatos, P.Eng.
Over the past 20 years, Jim has built a reputation for providing workable, cost-effective solutions to clients’ engineering problems in a personable and timely manner. A graduate of the University of Regina’s Faculty of Engineering (BSc. Regional Systems Engineering, 1997), he worked with Ground Engineering, EVRAZ and K+S Potash before establishing DKM Engineering Ltd. in 2007. Since then, he has worked closely with homeowners and small businesses to deliver knowledgeable, customer-focused service on a wide range of projects.

Michelle Markatos, MFA
Michelle is DKM’s long-time business manager and administrative lead. She has more than 10 years experience working with clients to navigate the countless details involved in residential and small commercial engineering projects. A life-long learner, Michelle has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Regina as well as certificates in communications and public relations.
